Tudor Prince Chronograph ‘Albino’ 79280
Here we have a wonderful example of the Tudor Prince 79280 with non-Tiger dial, and in a specification that is rarely seen with it’s ‘Albino’ dial consisting of a silver base with silver-grey subdials and on a strap rather than the more commonly seen Oyster or Jubilee bracelet.
These were produced at a time when Tudor was transitioning to a company apart from Rolex, and the case, bracelet and crown no longer featured the iconic Rolex logo, and helped build the base of success that modern Tudor experiences today.
This particular piece dates from circa-00’s and presents in TZ Good condition. The case and bezel shows signs of regular use in the form of scratches and swirlies, as well as some minor nicks and pin dents. Please see images for full condition details.
It’s mounted to a beautiful Artem Sailcloth strap in blue with white stitching on Artem pin buckle.
Was serviced by an independent within the last few years according to the owner, and keeps COSC time. Chrono functions operates as it should. Winding is smooth, though can catch on the threads of the crown tube but some outward pressure when winding stops this.
Comes as watch-only, no box or papers.
Nice example of a rarely seen Tudor Chrono.
