TAG Heuer Carrera Re-Edition 1964 Lemania CS3113
One of our favourite neo-vintage Heuers, the CS3113 is a very faithful reproduction of the original Carrera 2447N from 1964, one of the most important and collected chronographs from the mid-century.
The case measures in at 36mm with the strong lugs design Carreras are renowned for, with classic pump pushers and oversized crown. The dial features classic Heuer branding, and tritium for the hour markers and hands, meaning it will age over time much like the original. This particular example also shows a deep patina across the minute track, which adds a warmth you won’t see in modern watches. Adding to this warmth is an acrylic top-hat style crystal. Powering it is the classic Lemania 1873 movement.
This particular example presents in excellent neo-vintage condition. The case is very strong, with scratches and minor scuffs present, as well as very small nicks and pin dents. Tips of the lugs shows scrapes, and strap change marks on the backs of the lugs. Case back has some minor scratching, with clearly visible reference and serial numbers. Please see images for full condition details.
Acrylic shows some small scuffs and scratches.
Currently mounted to a supple Vachette leather strap in black, with Tag steel pin buckle.
Service history is unknown . All functions operating as they should, and currently keeping COSC time at around 300 degrees of amplitude, so dare say it’s had some attention in the not too distant past.
Comes as watch-only, no box or papers.
Phenomenal example of one of Heuer’s coolest pieces of the last 30 years.
