Rolex Submariner 116613LB Bluesy

If you’re reading this you’re likely familiar with the famous two-tone, blue dial 116613LB Submariner, one of it’s most recognizable models and usually referred to as the ‘Bluesy’. With it’s mix of stainless steel and yellow gold, along with a blue bezel, blue dial and wonderful case proportions it looks amazing on the wrist, with just the right amount of bling while still being acceptable in the boardroom. Oh, and if you want to go diving with it, you can do that too!

This is part of the first generation of the ceramic Bluesies, and therefore features the flat blue enamel dial from the ‘Smurf’ white gold Sub of the same era, rather than the later examples with sunburst blue dial. Far cooler in our opinion.

This particular example would date to circa-2009 and presents in TZ Excellent condition. Shows hairlines scratching and hazing on the sides of the case, but nothing that couldn’t be sorted with a light polish. Please inspect the images for full condition details.

Bracelet includes 11 links (one down from full), and shows desk diving marks throughout. Gold centres show some light tarnish as it was sitting in the safe for a couple of years.
