Oris are really on a roll lately, and the Pointer Date series is one of the best in their collection in our opinion, especially when crafted in bronze, whose patina and warm tones compliment the vintage-inspired pilot aesthetic of the Big Crown series.

Utilising the perfectly proportioned 40mm Big Crown case in bronze with signature coin-edge bezel, it houses deep bordeaux dial with railroad minute track, sitting inboard of the date-scale, which utilises a lovely red-tipped date hand and heavily lumed cathedral-style hands.

The domed sapphire crystal lends a suitably vintage-inspired aesthetic, and it’s finished off with an awesome 5-link bronze bracelet which compliments the tone of the dial to a tee. Powering it is the calibre 754 automatic movement with quick set, and hacking seconds.

This particular example was first sold in March 2025 and presents in TZ ‘Near Mint’ condition, with no signs of wear we can see other than the natural patina of the bronze. Please see images for full condition details.

The bracelet includes all links, and gain shows little sign of wear other than the patina.
