James Lamb Origin Series Air
A stunning entry into the world of Independents, self-taught watchmaker James Lamb burst onto the independent watchmaking scene in 2021 with the release of the Origin series under his eponymous brand. Inspired by natures elements – fire, water, air and earth – they each use champlevé vitreous enamel colours and decoration to evoke each of their namesakes. This particular version is the Air, with brief fine flowing lines of silver on a background of rare bluish opalescent vitreous enamel that plays and catches light. It is absolutely mesmerising in person, and shows astounding craftsmanship.
