Grand Seiko Heritage Spring Drive Seasons Spring SBGA413

Initially released as a US-only exclusive edition, the Seasons collection is a modern re-interpretation of the 62GS from 1967 and is credited along with the 44GS as being the first iteration of the Grand Seiko design grammar. Like its predecessor, this modern version features sharp edges and distortion free surfaces achieved with Zaratsu polishing, implemented on a wonderfully comfortable titanium 40mm case. The characteristic wide-dial aesthetic is carried over with a bezel-free design, making it appear slightly larger on the wrist than its spec would suggest.

The dial is the real star of the show, with its ‘Shunbun’ textured pale pink dial that is simply one of the most magnificent ever produced by GS, or any brand for that matter. It is powered by the fantastic Spring Drive 9R65 movement.

This particular example was purchased in February 2022 and presents in TZ ‘Near Mint’ condition. The case shows barely any signs of use, with only very minor swirls and some hairlines present. Please see images for full condition details.

A lovely combination of titanium case and bracelet, with one of the coolest GS dials. They don’t come much better.
